Taxes on consignment of goods extended to consignments in inter-state trade by insertion of a Union List entry.

The amendment inserts 92-B into List I of the Seventh Schedule, authorising taxes on the consignment of goods where such consignment takes place in the course of inter state trade or commerce, and applies whether the consignment is to the person making it or to any other person.
