of <h1>High Court Judges' Salaries Set by Parliament: Constitution 54th Amendment Updates Article 221, 1986.</h1> Article 221 of the Constitution was amended by the Constitution (54th Amendment) Act, 1986. The amendment replaces clause (1) with a provision stating that the salaries of High Court judges will be determined by Parliament through legislation. Until such a law is enacted, the salaries specified in the Second Schedule will apply.
