Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme established under Government Securities Act comes into force on Gazette publication. The notification establishes the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22 under clause (iii) of section 3 of the Government Securities Act, 2006, requires a distinct Series designation for each tranche beginning with Series VII to be shown on issued bonds, and provides that the scheme comes into force on publication in the Official Gazette.
