of <h1>New Rule 10: Unspent CSR Funds Must Go to Schedule VII Fund Until Specific Fund Designated Under Section 135</h1> Rule 10 of the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 mandates that any unspent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds must be transferred by a company to a fund listed in Schedule VII of the Companies Act. This requirement remains in place until a specific fund is designated under sub-sections (5) and (6) of section 135 of the Act. This rule was inserted through a notification on January 22, 2021.
