Settlement application procedure requires prescribed forms, authorised signatories, multiple filed copies, fee and deposit of accepted duty. Applications under the settlement scheme must be submitted in prescribed forms (Form SC(C)-1 or SC(C)-2), signed by authorised persons appropriate to the applicant's legal status, filed with multiple copies and accompanied by the prescribed fee; any additional customs duty accepted by the applicant, together with interest, must be deposited through the prescribed TR-6 challan in authorised banks in the required copies.
