The Central Government, based on recommendations from the Council, can establish or empower an existing Authority to assess whether registered persons have indeed reduced prices in line with tax benefits. This Authority is tasked with exercising powers and performing functions as prescribed to ensure compliance with this anti-profiteering measure.
