Final appellate jurisdiction: certified High Court cases and tribunal orders may proceed under established Supreme Court appeal procedures.
An appeal to the Supreme Court lies from orders of the Appellate Tribunal and from High Court judgments in appeals under the preceding provision if the High Court certifies the case fit for appeal; certification may follow on the High Court's own motion or on application by or for the aggrieved party. Provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure governing appeals to the Supreme Court apply, and when a High Court's judgment is varied or reversed, effect is to be given to the Supreme Court's order in the manner provided for High Court judgments.
