Provisional Attachment Orders Retained for 10 Years; Extended During Section 8 Proceedings and Appeals Under Sections 26, 42

The Adjudicating Authority must retain a copy of the order of provisional attachment of property, along with the related material and reasons, for ten years. This retention period extends if proceedings under Section 8 of the Act begin, lasting until those proceedings conclude. If an appeal is made to the Appellate Tribunal under Section 26, or to the High Court under Section 42, retention continues until the respective appeal is resolved, whichever occurs later.
