Goods not assessed or not declared by the importer in the relevant customs entry are excluded from the Deferred Payment of Import Duty Rules, 2016. Accordingly, the deferred import-duty payment framework does not apply to those goods. The exemption provision was subsequently renumbered through a customs notification.
