of <h1>Central Government enacts Foreign Exchange Authentication of Documents Rules 2000 under Section 46 and 39</h1> The Central Government enacted the Foreign Exchange (Authentication of Documents) Rules, 2000 under Section 46 read with Section 39 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999. These rules establish procedures for document authentication in foreign exchange matters. The rules are titled 'Foreign Exchange (Authentication of Documents) Rules, 2000' and came into force on June 1, 2000. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs on May 3, 2000, designated as G.S.R. 380(E).
