GST Registration and Return processes: Joint Committee constituted to review procedures and recommend IGST-related requirements. A Joint Committee was constituted under co-convenership of the Additional Secretary (Revenue), Government of India and the Member Secretary, Empowered Committee to examine the Sub-Group I Report on Business Processes for GST, with a remit to review GST registration and return procedures including requirements for the IGST model and to submit recommendations to the Empowered Committee within two months.
