Diplomatic fiscal privileges remain protected under international law and special agreements despite the tax treaty. Fiscal privileges of members of diplomatic missions and consular posts are preserved: the Agreement does not affect the fiscal privileges enjoyed by such persons under the general rules of international law or under the terms of special agreements.
