of <h1>Rule 7: Operations Not Sufficient for Preferential Tariff Concessions in India-Singapore Trade Agreement.</h1> Rule 7 of the Customs Tariff Rules, 2005, under the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement between India and Singapore, specifies operations that do not qualify as sufficient transformation for preferential tariff concessions. These include preservation methods during transport, simple operations like dust removal and sorting, changes in packaging, basic assembly or disassembly, affixing labels, simple mixing, and dilution. These processes, individually or in combination, are deemed insufficient to confer origin status to products for tariff benefits under the agreement.
