A special pass can be obtained through a written application with the appropriate court-fee stamp, submitted before the vessel's arrival. For steamers and square-rigged vessels, goods must be stored separately in a designated shed or stacked on the wharf as directed by the Customs Officer to avoid mixing with other goods. Removal of goods is prohibited until the manifest and bills of entry are submitted.
