          <h1>Customs supervision of warehouse manufacturing: conditions may set officer attachment and manufacturer payment obligations for oversight.</h1> Regulation 6 empowers the Assistant Commissioner of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs to impose conditions on manufacture and other operations in warehouses, including determining the number of customs officers attached for supervisory purposes and fixing sums payable by the manufacturer to cover establishment costs and extra charges for overtime services requested by the manufacturer.
