Diplomatic fiscal privileges remain unaffected by the treaty, preserving tax immunities under international law and special agreements. Article 28 preserves that nothing in the Agreement affects the fiscal privileges of members of diplomatic missions or consular posts, which continue to be governed by general rules of international law and by any applicable special agreements, thereby protecting pre-existing immunities, exemptions, and tax treatment afforded to such persons.
