Mutual Agreement Procedure enables competent authorities to resolve treaty interpretation and implementation disputes by agreement. Mutual Agreement Procedure permits the competent authorities of the Contracting Parties to resolve interpretation or implementation difficulties by mutual agreement, to agree on procedures under relevant treaty provisions, to communicate directly with each other, and to adopt other mutually agreed forms of dispute resolution.
