Direct consignment requires uninterrupted transport or limited transit with strict conditions preserving origin status under FTA rules.

Direct consignment covers goods transported either without passing through any third country or with transit through intermediate countries with or without transhipment or temporary storage, provided that (i) transit is justified by geographical or transport reasons, (ii) the goods have not entered into trade or consumption there, and (iii) the goods have undergone no operations there other than unloading and reloading or actions to keep them in good condition.
