of <h1>Reintroduced Easy Exit Scheme 2011 under Section 560 of Companies Act 1956 helps remove defunct companies from register.</h1> The Easy Exit Scheme, 2011, is a re-launch of a previous initiative under Section 560 of the Companies Act, 1956, aimed at facilitating the removal of defunct companies from the Register of Companies. This scheme addresses companies that have been inoperative since incorporation or have ceased operations and failed to file necessary documents with the Registrar. Due to significant demand from the corporate sector, the Ministry has reintroduced the scheme, which will be effective from January 1, 2011, to January 31, 2011, providing an opportunity for these companies to have their names struck off the register.
