Commencement of Producer Companies General Reserves Rules: they take effect upon publication in the official Gazette.

Rule 1 designates these instruments as the Producer Companies (General Reserves) Rules, 2003 and provides they come into force on publication in the official Gazette, made under the powers of clause (a) of subsection (1) of section 642 read with subsection (1) of section 581ZL of the Companies Act, 1956; the original notification issuing the rules is recorded and later supersession by a subsequent notification is noted.
