of <h1>Companies Face Fines for Violating Indian Depository Receipts Rules 2004; Daily Penalties for Ongoing Breaches Included</h1> If a company or any individual violates any provision of the Companies (Issue of Indian Depository Receipts) Rules, 2004, for which no specific punishment is outlined in the Act, the company and its responsible officers, or the individual, face a fine up to twice the amount of the Indian Depository Receipts (IDR) issue. If the violation continues, an additional fine of up to five thousand rupees per day may be imposed for the duration of the ongoing contravention.
