Surety for provisional customs bonds: proper officer may require security or surety, or both, to support the bond. Regulation 4 permits the proper officer to require that a bond under the Customs (Provisional Duty Assessment) Regulations, 1963 be furnished with such surety or security, or both, as the officer deems fit; prescribed Forms Nos. 3 to 8 are referenced for adoption of the rules.
