of <h1>Government Notifies Rules for Unmanufactured and Chewing Tobacco Under Section 3A; Updates Jarda Scented Tobacco Dates</h1> These rules apply to unmanufactured tobacco with a brand name and chewing tobacco as notified under section 3A of the Act by the Government of India's Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. The notification dates are February 27, 2010, and April 13, 2010, for jarda scented tobacco under notification No. 17/2010-Central Excise (N.T.). The initial date was substituted to April 13, 2010, by Notification No. 18/2010-Central Excise (N.T.).
