Notifications and rules under the Mediation Act must be laid before Parliament for thirty days and may be modified or annulled.

Notifications under specified subsections and any rule or regulation made under the Act must be laid before each House of Parliament for thirty days (in one or successive sessions); if both Houses, before the expiry of the subsequent session, agree to modify or annul the instrument, it will operate only as modified or cease to have effect, without affecting the validity of prior actions taken under it.
