Relevancy of connected facts extends to events forming the same transaction, even when occurring at different times or places.

Section 4 provides that facts not in issue are relevant when so connected with a fact in issue or a relevant fact as to form part of the same transaction, and that such relevancy is unaffected by differences in time or place; illustrations include contemporaneous statements at a beating, constituent incidents of an insurrection, related letters in a correspondence, and successive deliveries through intermediaries.
