Right of appeal ensures review by an Appellate Tribunal with allowance for late filing and expedited disposal.

Appeals from Adjudicating Officer orders under the Act lie to the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal within forty-five days in prescribed form and fee, with the Tribunal empowered to condone delay for sufficient cause. After hearing the parties the Tribunal may confirm, modify or set aside the order, must send copies of its orders to parties and the Adjudicating Officer, endeavour to dispose of appeals within six months, and may call for records and pass such orders as it thinks fit.
