Notification commencement date set as date of issue for publication by central government, unless notification otherwise provides.

The amendment substitutes section 25(4) of the Customs Act to provide that, unless otherwise provided, every notification issued under the specified provisions comes into force on the date of its issue by the Central Government for publication in the Official Gazette, and it omits sub section (5) of section 25.
