Review power to examine records and vary administrative trade orders subject to notice and opportunity to be heard.

Section 16 grants the Central Government and the Director General a power to call for and examine records of proceedings to assess the correctness, legality or propriety of decisions or orders and to make such orders as deemed fit; any variation prejudicially affecting a person is barred unless that person has received a notice to show cause within the prescribed period and has been given a reasonable opportunity to make representations and be heard in defence.
