Trustee right to seek opinion on trust management, enabling reliance on advisory direction and protection from personal liability.

A trustee may petition a principal civil court for its opinion, advice or direction on present questions of management or administration of trust-property (excluding questions of detail or matters unsuitable for summary disposal); service on interested persons and their attendance is at the Court's discretion. A trustee who states facts in good faith and acts on the Court's opinion is deemed, as to his own responsibility, to have discharged his duty in the subject-matter, and the Court has discretion as to costs.
