Penalty for non-compliance with Passenger Name Record Information requirements may be imposed on an aircraft operator or its authorised agent for each contravention or failure to comply with the regulations. The Principal Additional Director General or Additional Director General of the National Customs Targeting Centre-Passenger is empowered to impose the penalty. This operates without prejudice to other action available under the Act or other law.
