....The Central Government, exercising powers under section 43(1) of the PMLA and in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan HC, amended the 2016 notification designating Special Courts under the PMLA for Rajasthan. The amendment adds four Special Courts for CBI cases: three in Jaipur Metro-I and one in Jodhpur. These courts are vested with jurisdiction over the entire State of Rajasthan or districts under the Rajasthan HC, Jodhpur bench, respectively. This structural enhancement aims to streamline the trial of PMLA offenses within the state by expanding the number of designated Special Courts, thereby facilitating more efficient adjudication of money laundering cases.....
