.... Customs Broker License in ICES - reg. ***** Kind reference is invited to Board's Notification No. 62/2021-Customs (N.T.) dated 23.07.2021 for suspension of Customs Broker license. The same has been implemented in System in respect of the period of validity of Customs broker license. Now, at the time of registration of Customs broker license in POLOFF role, the validity period (i.e. expiry date) has been made optional. If no expiry date is mentioned, the requirement of extending the license date in System has been done away. Further, if no documents are filed by the Customs broker in the Customs EDI System for a period of one year, the license would be suspended on PAN India basis in the System automatically.
