ANNEXURE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALIST REPUBLIC FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION AND THE PREVENTION OF FISCAL EVASION WITH RESPECT TO TAXES ON INCOME The Government of India and the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, Desiring to conclude an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, Have agreed as follows: Article 1 PERSONAL SCOPE This agreement shall apply to persons who are residents of one or both of the Contracting States. In the application of the provisions of this agreement by one of the Contracting States, any term not defined herein shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the meaning which it has under the laws in force in that Contracting State relating to the taxes which are the subject of this agreement. ....ned Plenipotentiaries have agreed that the following provisions shall form an integral part of the Agreement. I. ARTICLE 5 (PERMANENT ESTABLISHMENT) (i) The term " assembly project " as used in clause (g) of paragraph 2 includes installation of equipment.
