Export of planting and ornamental plant products is regulated under the DGFT Schedule. Export restrictions apply to planting material used for propagation classified in headings 0601 and 0602 and to certain specified plants such as cashew; detailed conditions and compliance requirements are set out in Chapter 12 of the Schedule.
