Export policy for cereals under Schedule 2, Chapter 10, sets classification notes, definitions, supplementary notes, and item-wise export conditions for wheat, meslin, rice, maize, and other cereals. The chapter applies only where grains are present, excludes hulled or otherwise worked grains subject to stated exceptions, and defines pellets, durum wheat, and GI-recognised rice. Export licensing notes address restricted exports of wild variety wheat and paddy seed, special treatment for organic cereals, and destination-based permissions for non-basmati rice and wheat.
