of <h1>GST Schedule II adds fibreboard of wood and similar ligneous boards at 18% tax, effective 22 September 2025</h1> Schedule II adds fibreboard of wood or other ligneous materials, whether or not bonded with resins or other organic substances (excluding certain specified boards), to the taxable goods at a GST rate of 18% effective 22 September 2025, pursuant to the government notification issued 17 September 2025. The entry clarifies tax treatment for these boards under GST Schedules and replaces prior classifications as of the effective date.
