        <h1>GST on tapioca products now attracts a reduced rate following a recent tax notification, affecting sabudana supplies.</h1> Imposition of GST at 5% on tapioca and substitutes prepared from starch in forms such as flakes, grains, pearls and siftings (sabudana) is set out in Schedule I and applies with effect from 22-09-2025, as notified by Notification No. 9/2025 Integrated Tax (Rate) dated 17-09-2025.
