        GST Exemption for AFC Women's Asia Cup 2022 Services Requires Certification from Director (Sports) per Notification No. 07/2021.

        Services provided by and to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and its subsidiaries, directly or indirectly related to any events under the AFC Women's Asia Cup 2022 in India, are exempt from GST, including CGST, UTGST, SGST, and IGST. This exemption is contingent upon certification from the Director (Sports) of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, confirming the services' relevance to the events. This provision was introduced via Notification No. 07/2021-Integrated Tax (Rate) effective from October 1, 2021.
