of <h1>New SION Norms Define Material Standards for Exporting Sterile Infusion and Blood Collection Sets</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the production of non-pyrogenic sterile intravenous infusion sets or blood collection sets under the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies the required materials and their quantities per unit of the export product. These include 1.05 kg of HDPE/PP/HMHPE/LDPE and PVC compound granules, specific quantities of needles or stainless steel components, luer adapters, safety shields, LDPE soft film or PVC rigid sheets, and medical kraft paper. The norms ensure the standardization of inputs for manufacturing these medical products.
