Export of Muli Bamboo and bamboo-derived products, including bamboo charcoal, is permitted only when the material is obtained from legal sources and accompanied by a Certificate of Origin issued by the concerned State Forest Department or Range Forest Officer, with transportation complying with applicable transit rules. Betel leaves are freely exportable but exports to the European Union require registration with SHEFEXIL for issuance of a health certificate.
