of <h1>Voluntary Health Services Approved for Research under Section 35(1)(ii) with Conditions for Funding and Reporting.</h1> The Voluntary Health Services in Chennai has been approved by the Central Government under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, effective from April 1, 2006, as an institution partly engaged in research activities. The approval is contingent upon several conditions: funds must be used for scientific research; research must be conducted by faculty or students; separate audited accounts must be maintained and submitted; and a certified statement of donations and their application must be provided. The approval may be revoked if these conditions are not met, or if the organization ceases genuine research activities.
