of <h1>Physically Handicapped Association Gains Tax Exemption Status for 1983-86 Under Section 10(23C)(iv) of Income-tax Act</h1> The Central Government, under the powers granted by clause (iv) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has officially notified The Association of the Physically Handicapped. This notification applies to the association for the purpose of the specified section for the assessment years 1983-84 to 1985-86, as per Notification No. S.O.3995 dated October 7, 1983.
