of <h1>Kerala Forest Research Institute Approved for Scientific Research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act 1961</h1> The Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi, has been approved by the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, as an institution under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for scientific research. The approval is effective from May 3, 1983, to May 2, 1986. The institute must maintain separate accounts for research funds, submit annual returns of research activities by April 30 each year, and provide audited annual accounts and balance sheets to the prescribed authority and the Commissioner of Income-tax by June 30 each year.
