of <h1>Cancer Detection Research Approved Under Section 35(2A) of Income-tax Act, Backed by Corporations at Tata Memorial Centre</h1> A scientific research program focused on the early detection of cancer through biological tumor marker studies has been approved under sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Sponsored by several corporations, the project is hosted at the Tata Memorial Centre in Bombay. It commenced on October 23, 1982, and is scheduled to conclude on December 31, 1987, with an estimated cost of Rs. 3.40 crores. The Tata Memorial Centre is also approved under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, with this particular approval being valid until February 6, 1983.
