of <h1>All India Institute of Physical Medicine approved as Scientific Research Association under Income-tax Act Section 35(1)(ii).</h1> The All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society for Promotion of Medical Research in Bombay has been approved as a 'Scientific Research Association' in the field of medical research by the Indian Council of Medical Research. This approval, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, is effective from December 20, 1981, to December 19, 1983. The Society must maintain separate accounts for research funds, submit annual research activity returns, and provide audited financial statements to both the Council and the Income-tax Commissioner by May 31 each year.
