of <h1>Deepak Gupta Memorial Foundation Approved for Medical Research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act</h1> The Deepak Gupta Memorial Foundation in New Delhi has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a 'Scientific Research Association' in the field of medical research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is valid from March 30, 1982, to March 29, 1984. The Foundation must maintain separate accounts for funds received for medical research, submit annual returns of its research activities by May 31 each year, and provide an annual audited statement of accounts and assets to both the Council and the Commissioner of Income-tax.
