of <h1>Bombay College of Pharmacy recognized for medical research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Research Society of the Bombay College of Pharmacy, Bombay, has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a 'Scientific Research Association' in the field of Medical Research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is valid from January 28, 1982, to January 27, 1984. The association must maintain separate accounts for medical research funds, submit annual scientific research activity returns, and provide an annual audited statement of accounts to both the Council and the Income-tax Commissioner by May 31st each year.
