of <h1>Jagdale Scientific Research Foundation Gains Tax Approval for Science Research Under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act 1961.</h1> The Jagdale Scientific Research Foundation in Bangalore has been approved by the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for its work in natural and applied sciences, excluding agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and medicines. The foundation must maintain separate accounts for research funds, submit annual research activity returns by April 30, and provide annual income, expenditure, and balance-sheet reports to the Income-tax Commissioner by June 30 each year. This approval is valid from February 7, 1982, to February 6, 1985.
