of <h1>Narendra Seva Trust recognized for medical research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act, 1961; compliance conditions apply.</h1> The Narendra Seva Trust, Calcutta, has been approved as a 'scientific research association' in the field of medical research by the Indian Council of Medical Research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is effective from January 29, 1982, to January 28, 1984. The Trust is required to maintain separate accounts for medical research funds, submit annual returns of its research activities by May 31 each year, and provide an annual audited statement of accounts to both the Council and the relevant Income-tax Commissioner.
