The project is sponsored by a company and conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, running from November 1, 1978, to March 31, 1982, with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 1.45 lakhs. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, is recognized under section 10(2)(xiii) of the Income-tax Act, 1922, as per a prior notification.
